Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how EveningReigns LLC (trading as Evening Reigns, "I", "me", "my") collects and uses personal data when you visit eveningreigns.com, create an account, join the Inner Circle, or make a contribution. EveningReigns LLC is the data controller for the personal data described here.

Data I collect: (1) account details — your email address, display name, and login credentials (passwords are stored securely and never visible to me); (2) membership records — your plan, membership status, and billing period dates; (3) usage data — pages visited, referring site, device type, and an anonymous visitor identifier stored in your browser; (4) messages you send me by email.

Why I use it and the legal basis: account and membership data is used to provide your account, member downloads, and membership (performance of a contract); usage data is used to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site secure (legitimate interests); emails are used to reply to you and provide support (legitimate interests); records required for tax, accounting, or responding to lawful requests are processed to meet legal obligations; and any marketing emails are sent only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who I share it with: hosting and infrastructure providers who run this website on my behalf; Paddle.com, which acts as Merchant of Record for all purchases, subscriptions, and contributions made on this site, and handles payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and subscription management (Paddle processes your payment details under its own privacy policy, and I never see your full card details); Etsy, for purchases you make on my Etsy shop, under Etsy's own policies; professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers where needed; and authorities where required by law. I do not sell your personal data.

Pinterest: I connect my own Pinterest business account to this website through Pinterest's official sign-in (OAuth), so I can publish Pins for my Etsy listings and see how they perform. This connection covers only my own account; the site never asks for Pinterest passwords and never connects to or reads visitors' Pinterest accounts. The access keys Pinterest provides are kept in private server-side storage, are never shown in the browser, and are deleted when I disconnect. The information I publish to Pinterest is my own product content (listing photos, titles, descriptions, and links), not visitors' personal data. Pin performance figures (views, saves, and clicks) are used only in my private dashboard. Pinterest handles your activity on its own platform under Pinterest's privacy policy.

Facebook: I connect my own Facebook Page to this website through Facebook's official sign-in (Facebook Login), so I can publish posts about my Etsy listings and YouTube videos on my Page and see how they perform. This connection covers only my own account and the Page I manage; the site never asks for Facebook passwords and never connects to or reads visitors' Facebook accounts. The access keys Facebook provides are kept in private server-side storage, are never shown in the browser, and are deleted when I disconnect. What I publish is my own content (artwork, product photos, captions, and links), not visitors' personal data, and Page performance figures (such as reach and clicks) are used only in my private dashboard. Data deletion: disconnecting in my Studio deletes the stored Facebook keys; you can also remove the app under Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, or email eveningreigns@gmail.com to ask for deletion. Meta handles your activity on Facebook under Meta's privacy policy.

Retention: I keep account and membership data for as long as your account is open and for up to 6 years afterwards where needed for tax, accounting, or legal reasons. Usage data is kept for up to 24 months. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights: depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email eveningreigns@gmail.com and I will respond within one month.

Security: I use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls that limit who can view account data, and private storage for member files.

International transfers: my service providers may process data outside your country. Where this happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and local storage: this site uses essential browser storage to keep you signed in, and a first-party anonymous identifier to count visits. No advertising cookies are used. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
